Meaghan G. Alegi
Meaghan G. Alegi, a member of the firm since 2003, is a 1996 graduate of The John Carroll School and a 2000 graduate of Western Maryland College, now McDaniel College, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and was the recipient of the Faith Millard Medal (given to the senior female academic athlete of the year).
She attended the University of Baltimore School of Law, where she graduated in 2003 cum laude with a concentration in Public and Governmental Service. Ms. Alegi was a Law Achievement Workshop Scholar in Federal Civil Procedure during her second year of Law School, where she acted as a Teaching Assistant for a first year Federal Civil Procedure class. During her first and second years of law school she was awarded, respectively, the American Jurisprudence Awards in Federal Civil Procedure and Employ-ment Law, representing that she received the highest grade in each course.
Ms. Alegi is also a member of the Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity. She is a member of the American, Maryland and Harford County Bar Associations and was admitted to practice in the Maryland Court of Appeals in 2003 and in the United States District Court for the District of Maryland in 2004.
Ms. Alegi's areas of practice concentrate on Commercial and Residential Real Estate, Zoning and Land Use, Corporate and Business Law, and Estate Planning. She is licensed to practice law in the State of Maryland.
