Types of Mediation We Offer
Although there is no official certification for mediation or arbitration in Maryland, the Maryland Circuit Courts use arbitrators and mediators whom each Court has qualified. These qualifications for appointment differ from jurisdiction to jurisdiction, but in general they include requiring the Mediator or Arbitrator to meet certain educational and experiential requirements, and to have been accepted for inclusion on a county court's mediation panel. Those included may then be appointed as a court-ordered Mediator in that county, on a case-by-case basis.
Gus Brown is qualified in Harford County and Cecil County as a mediator to handle Dispute Resolution related to:
- Personal Injury Claims
- Medical Malpractice Claims
- Litigation Mediation
- Wrongful Termination Claims
- Premises Safety Liability Claims
- Employment Dispute Mediation
Gus also frequently serves as a court-appointed Arbitrator in the above types of cases, and in general legal areas.
